Using a shampoo bar can cause the hair to feel a little different. It can take up to 2 weeks or more for your hair to get use to it. To get you through this adjustment period, try using a vinegar rinse. A vinegar rinse can help with pH balance while adding softness and shine. 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (can use distilled white vinegar. It does have a stronger smell) to 8-12 oz of water. Can vary amount of vinegar depending on hair thickness and length. Pour mixture on scalp, and down length of hair. Gently massage in. Make sure to avoid getting in eyes. Wait a couple of minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
This beauty bar will typically last as long as other soap bars, provided it isn’t sitting in a puddle of water. We recommend using a soap dish that allows water to drain.
Yes it does; however, the lather will be less if you have hard water.
The white layer develops on the air exposed surface of the bar as it cools and cures. The layer is often referred to as ‘soda ash.’ Soda ash is harmless and doesn’t affect the safety or use of the bar. Soap with soda ash is perfectly safe to use. This layer will wash away after use.
Usage varies depending on frequency and storage. Allowing the bar to dry between uses can help extend its life.

I purchased the lemon beauty bar to use as shampoo. It is great. I am at the age where I am experiencing hair loss and I’ve used more natural shampoo bars and no conditioner for the last ten years. This bar smells terrific, lathers really well, cleans great and leaves my hair soft, manageable & shiny. I used too much the first time so beware, a little goes a long way. A great purchase.
